Does anyone have the contact details for this hotel. It's next to the boxing ring in Lamai.

Email address (preferred) or phone number.

A small new place next to the boxing and all the loud music Lady Bars , so may be a bit noisy. Looks ok but I think you can get better value in the area.

Up to you.

I see you maybe coming in a couple of weeks. Just in case you are not aware of it you will be arriving slap bang in the middle of the rainy season. And it rains a lot. Be prepared to spend a lot of time in the room or in a bar. :o:D:D

Aplogies for butting in and side tracking away from the topic...but what has the weather been like as of late.

I was in Samui last November/December and as you know there was extensive flooding in common with much of Southern Thailand.

Previous to that I had often visited Samui at this time and experienced nothing but sunshine- I actually thought that people were making up stories concerning rain and the like!

Will be arriving for a brief week at the end of November and then returning for an extended stay from Mid December but I enjoy a good drink on a rainy afternoon so come rain or shine its no problem for me!

Some sun but some very heavy showers. Last year the rain did not really start until 24th November. I remember because I went to Nathon to pay my electric bill on the 23rd and thought how lucky I was.

Thanks for the contact details. I did stay at the Baan Pitcha the end of August but lost the card they gave me.

To be quite honest the noise was not too bad. The boxing ring was the worst but that was not every night.

The rainy season is not a problem. I live in Borneo.

Have fun.

I know the rain will be good for my shrubbery. :o:D:D
