Affordable is a relative/subjective term!

At any nursing home, cost will vary with the room i.e. private vs semi-private room or ward.

Also depends on what exactly is needed e.g. English speaking? physical therapy/rehab? or just custodial care?

This place has a good reputation, especially if it is for a foreigner/English speaker http://www.goldenyears.co.th/en/

On the other hand, if what is primarily needed is physical therapy/rehab (i.e. it is not a permanent placement but rather for purposes of convalecence), the average Thai nursing home will not provide much by way of this and

the best place is McKean Hospital up in Chiang Mai - http://www.mckean.or.th/

If it is for a Thai, there are a lareg number of nursing homes around but no central listing of them
