The headline mentions an Indian duo held in connection with this crime.......but no mention of them in the article?

What article ? Don't understand what your getting at the 2 Indian men worked for him.

Neighbours or ex wife, police must as always tell us who did it or was it "self inflicted" Tuicide?

I agree. It is getting quite tiresome the snide remarks about suicide. Surprised "a Thai would never do that" has not surfaced from the inane afflicted.

Re the actual murder it seems patently obvious that there had to be at least 2 people involved as those concrete chairs are damn heavy.

Fortunately no idiot has suggested a Burmese connection, so far.

business rivalry or murder. suicide is unlikely.

the plot thickens. circumstantial evidential does point to the

two workers but does not necessarily absolve the wife who might have

acted in league with the two employees.

Indian duo held in murder of countryman in Phitsanulok
s2p.jpg
PHITSANULOK:-- Two Indian nationals have been held in connection with the death of their employer who was found murdered in a Phitsanulok river at the weekend.
Hem Singh, 36, was found wrapped in a blanket that was tied with rope and weighed down in the Yom Sai Kao river with a cement seat. He had been stabbed four times in the chest and four times in the back.
Phrom Piman police went to the "Ali Baba - Indian Food" restaurant in Sukhothai that Hem ran with his Thai wife Somjai Promnakha, 36.
At the restaurant two Indian men - Devender Singh, 25, a cook, and Ravish Jyani, 23 told investigators that Hem had gone to Bangkok and they didn't know when he would be back.
They both denied any involvement in their employer's disappearance.
Sukhothai forensics officers compared the cement seat found with the body and said it matched one missing from the restaurant. DNA was taken from the two Indian men and the wife who has a young daughter with the deceased.
Blood stains were found in the two men's living quarters and in the boot of the deceased's Honda City. They tested positive for being human blood. DNA evidence was also taken from the rooms and the car.
Both Indian men had many cuts on their hands, back and neck and were sent to hospital for further analysis.
In addition witnesses said that on Saturday Hem was seen drinking alcohol in the restaurant with the two men. They were initially held on working illegally as investigators feared they would flee.
Investigations continue.

Once again Forum members have fallen for the cunning trap set for them. This was a bit quick though, usually the TVF detectives have a run of pages before the truth is released. When will they ever learn that their predudices are being played.Apology to women "involved",never.

Shame they already found 2 scapegoats. Dna test Will be concluded in a day or so confirming the Dna swabs taken from the suspects belong to the suspects Then death penalty handed out so that's the end of that.

Shame for who, you. The wife would be swinging from a tree if it was up to the likes of you.

The victim was a Sikh judging from his last name, unusual to not marry a fellow sikh woman.

He probably came here to do business or find love or both, died while trying.

RIP poor man, now his faith will be decided by the Thai police in a small town in Pitsanulok, hope they find his killer soon.

He wasn't a religious person, Hem came to Sukhothai from Pattaya where he had worked for many years.

Apart from the business not doing as well in Pattaya as previous years his Thai wife wanted to come back to Sukhothai to be nearer the family.

Will get much more village gossip later on, it would be inappropriate for me to speculate further.

Remember a rule that was told me.
Thais is only 8 years in head, no matter how old those are.

Remember the rule that only the English language is acceptable on this forum except in the Thai language forum.

Please translate your comment to English and re-post.

Could the headline be any more leading?

Very subtle and completely unnecessary thaivisa.

It seems you don't even trust the intellectual ability of your readership to come up with a bigoted response on their own.

Local cop will now have a major share in restaurant for smoothing things over?

5555.A share in an Indian restuarant in woop woop, that will bring in the big baht, for sure.Especially with a ghost hanging around.

This time slightly off topic but is there an Indian restaurant in Woop-Woop , only a couple of Aussies on tv might know the answer ?
