really no need. was there two weeks ago. got there 8:45. out of there 11:30. only a few people in the queue. there was a couple there advertising as "queue sitters" looking for business. business was not going so well for them! saw them advertising on FB later that day and they were literally laughed out the door of the group - asking 500/person. the long queue seems to be for 90-day reports which i can not understand when you can drop it in the post. (no queue sitters in 90-day queue either, the day i was there). seems "queue sitter" not a lucrative business opp.

I would happily pay a few hundred baht to remove the uncertainty of just turning up as every day seems different at Prom.

Me and er indoors do our 90 days online and by post respectively so that is not a concern.

We paid 300 baht for the service about two months ago. The agent operates a travel & tourism business next to the Taiwan Restaurant down Rajchaphruk Rd (the small road opposite the Shell Gas station on Huay Kaew Rd.) No agent needed on days when there are only a few people waiting, but a remarkably delightful service to have queue number 2 when there are 30 people on line when you arrive... Sort of like an insurance policy against spending the day at Immigration.

Thanks.

That was for 2 of you, one dependent?

Passport and completed docs required?

300 each. Passport and all forms required. We arrived at 8:30, back home by 10-10:30... Back again at 2:00 to pick up passports. Just in and out. Painless.

Anyone know the telephone number of the agent of travel & tourism business next to the Taiwan Restaurant down Rajchaphruk Rd?

Would be very useful to know.

Thanks in advance.
