simon43
Not about giving away clothes, but a funny story to relate, (which I previously related on ThaiVisa about 10 years ago). When I first moved to BKK, (abut 15 years ago) I was involved in the erhum... adult content business in the UK. This was all quite legal and involved placing adverts in the top shelf magazines with photos of grandmothers being 'serviced' by hunky black men etc. (There seemed to be a market at the time for that sort of thing!). I told all the magazine publishers on no account to post a copy of these magazines to me in Thailand, (they would normally send a copy so I could review the advert etc). Even soft-core adult content was illegal in Thailand and the sort of magazines that I was advertising in would make a trooper blush. But these publishing houses kept sending these magazines to my condo in BKK Each time, I would stuff the magazine in the bin and hope that no-one would tell the 'authorities'. One day, I received a bumper load of these magazines and as I was feverishly stuffing them in the rubbish bin under the banana skins, my Thai maid peered over my shoulder at a front cover photo of 'Grandma Doris gets to taste enormous tropical fruit' etc. 'They aren't my magazines' I blurted out to the maid. 'They keep coming through the post' 'That's OK na ka' she replied. 'I am making big money from reselling these magazines - they are definitely the best of all the porn mags that I retrieve from farang rubbish bins'!!! AlQaholic
We always give away our old clothes to relatives, I smile when I see them around in my old clothes. One of the cousins works on movie sets, and he brings back T-shirts and hats from the movies such as Hangover 2 and golf tournaments and stuff, cool. So much wastage goes on
