Australian Visa application

Hi to all, any Aussies out there that have applied for a Australian Tourist Visa for their Thai girlfriend recently. I have submitted an application for my Thai GF through VFS Global and was wondering how long was the process for you. Our application was submitted nearly 4 weeks ago now. We received a phone call requesting some more info, which was sent over week ago now, nothing heard since, even after two emails were sent without a response. Tried Global and they could not give  an approximate time, eg, 4 - 6 - 8 weeks. Would  appreciate feedback from members who have done this process before.

4 weeks 2 days, I had one come back last week. Don't know why the wait?

Hi Gopro, did you have to submit evidence of your relationship eg, photos, financial supporting documents? It is annoying, as you cannot talk to anybody at immigration, you can only correspond via emails which they do not answer. Normally most government agencies and large corporations respond with a automated answer to acknowledge your email, however, nothing from immigration. Guess one just has to sit and wait hoping that the application is being processed.
