Spent many 10 baht coins on these crane machines, always while on a date, in fruitless attempts to win stuffed dolls. 

 

Yet to see anyone win from these machines in Thailand, the crane clasp always jerking the prize loose

Not a scam at all. Keep feeding it sip bahts and eventually you'll get it.

Figure it out.  If you got a 20 baht stuffed toy every time you put in ten baht, then why not just buy the machine?

 

I am certain the psi in the crane clasp is adjusted so the prize falls out.

 

My grabbing technique is excellent and I can get the doll in the clasp

You just need more practice, get another 1K baht of sip bahts and keep at it. You'll get the hang of it.

Hi, i worked in this industry and the mchines are set to give a price after a certain times it is played. we usually hd it set on 30 time's. So keep playing the same machine and eventually you win. However go to the shop and buy a stuffed doll.
