And prices for new parts are surprisingly low..... a lot less than what you pay in the west. They have very good staff there that are eager to help.  Lots of after market goodies too!

I agree so cheap

plus new parts will last longer

So less down time for repairs

I can vouch for sang chai motor befoer Isuzu and before McCormick Hospital

 

I bought a new speedo cable there for a click for 90 baht. I could hardly believe it was so cheap.

Thanks for replies. I mainly need a new plastic box that goes under the seat, so second hand one would be fine.

 

Are there any m'bike dismantlers in C M?

I can't say I've ever seen one in the 4 years I've been here....that's not to say they don't exist.

 

As previous posts have tried to say, it's easier just to buy new and parts are not expensive. Possibly why there aren't many wreckers yards about.
