The Husband about to leave home for work...

 

Wife: from the kitchen "Harry, please come here." 
Husband: with a grimace "Yes?" 
 
Wife: "The faucet is leaking and needs repair." 
Husband: "I cannot do now as I dont have a plumber at hand."
 
Wife: "The fridge is not cooling and needs repair." 
Husband: "I cannot do now as I dont have a technician at hand."

 

Wife: "The washing machine is making a noise and needs attention." 
Husband: "I cannot do now as I dont have a technician at hand"... and leaves for work.

Later...
The Husband returns home from work and observers his wife washing the dishes...

Husband: "I see you've got the faucet repaired."

Wife: "Of course, the next door gentleman was kind enough not only to repair the faucet but also the fridge and the washing machine."

Husband: "How much did you pay him for the work?"

Wife: "Nothing. He refused money and said if I like to give him a cake or a kiss."

Husband: "So?"
Wife: "I dont have a baker in hand..."
