Can anyone recommend the easiest way to get to Central Westgate, Nontaburi, from Ekamai?

How far is Westgate from the Nontaburi Express Boat Pier?

Thanks for any useful information; much appreciated

IF you are in for some interesting diversion with local Thai songhthaews and dont mind changing a few times, then yes, you can connect from the pier-first take small ferry across, then walk some further, old dilapidated bus-1002/3 or maybe now songhthaew toward bangBuaThong and change-the bus passes the purple line, no idea how stations are located. If you do not speekee the Thai and are the tipical confused farang, it will take maybe only 2 hrs. from NTB (called Tha Nam by all Thai).

ALL those giant shop-centres look very much the same with very much the same shops, if you stay at Ekamai you might as well go to Eastgate-oh no, the one around IKEA along BangnatTrat. THere are however also an original BigC and a converted Carrefour across WG and the most hideous of all-the first in the area BigKings (from the gone bust Merry KIngs), which was then changed into the usual small vendor-stalls later on, with many a Burmese among them.

How long you stay in BKK? Still not found out that taximeters can do all that for you much easier, comfy too? I guess its only about 12-14 kms away from NTB. BMTA AC-old blue/cream buses based in BBTong-depot serve it too-lines 134(MOchit) and 516.
