So where is the edit button gone on the new layout ?

Can't find it anywhere

Next to the "Quote" button.

 

But it disappears after 30 minutes.

It does not appear next to my quote button at all

You should always state what device, what operating system, what app, what browser, etc, that you are using.

I am using a laptop, windows 10 did have Google Chrome but deleted it today

since I could not connect to anything went back to internet explorer  and I

can reach any website

I don't get this, ever I complained about editing  

I got the editing button back
