Typhoid / Hep A Vaccinations in CM

Featured Replies

Hi all, I know this topic has come up before, but wanted to see if there was any more current info out there.

My wife needs both typhoid and Hep A (1st and follow up booster), and I need typhoid as well. The only place I was able to get clear info was Health Care Medical Clinic. They quoted me 800 baht for the typhoid shot and 2400 baht for each round of Hep A.

Two questions:

1. I saw posts about Red Cross in Bangkok giving Hep A for 1200 baht (confirmed via their website)...but it seems they don't do vaccinations in CM. Any other reliable but more affordable options out there in CM? Or places I should call?

2. Does anyone know of a place that offers the oral typhoid vaccination...we'd both prefer that route, but of course will get the shot if it's not available.

Thanks for any and all info!!!

Sorry to bump, but any suggestions?

I highly recommend the clinic on Chang Klan Road at the intersection to the road that goes to the Holiday Inn- most of the doctor's business is vaccinations, and he did a great job with my daughter, and his prices were less than local hospitals.

Travel Medical Clinic on the way from the SE corner of the moat to Pantip Plaza..left hand side...looks like it is government run.  Almost looks like a two level school building.

Offers very limited services. Name is deceptive.
