Well, its a year on to the day.

My thoughts are still there for George, although I've been to I think 4 funerals since Georgies,....

I notice in page 1 of the original thread of Bests death, a couple of messages from our own recently departed and missed Noel, little did we know eh.... jap.gif

Some moments from the life o George;

George...Simply the Best Link.

Yeah, hasn't it just gone fast....!

There'll be a lot of the old tunes coming out at the game today. Also a lot of good luck messages for George about today's game from many many opposing fans, a lot from north of the border too on United message boards and forums.

For once, it seems, the world is not against United.... :o

I'm with you there mate.

They've got the guy that sang at his funeral singing all his favourite tunes. Like you say though fella, its on the pitch that the performance needs to be.

Lets have a game, worthy of Best, from both sides :o . United to win though eh........... :D

*right I'm walking round the corner to the game. UNITED, UNITED, UNITED.

That time of the year comes upon us again, the time that makes us all think how quickly the years pass and, get quicker the older you get. I am of course talking about Christmas but, just listening to that song that was played at Georgies funeral on the radio and, I am reminded once again that another year has passed (tomorrow) since the passing of George.

I'd like to say something really poinant but, I've no need. :o

RIP George, gone but never forgotten.
