Australian Beef in Issan ?

Featured Replies

Looking for Australian beef/lamb in Issan, have also posted this in that forum.

Had a steak at Sizzler Udon Thani the other day, OMG, better than the meat back in Oz, but at 929 baht for a 225 gram piece, its up there, especially if you want to eat it 2-3 times a week.

So my question is: does anyone know of any places that sells Aussie meat, I went to a couple of places in Udon Thani the other day, the one opposite Nutty Park seems to have shut down, Makro only has NZ meat, but that looked to have a lot of fat on it.

Will travel to Udon Thani, Sakon Nakon, Kon Kaen, Nong Kae to pick it up, I have seen the one on the web at BKK, but the selection IMO and delivery charges are up there, while I can appreciate its not associated with running the business.

There are some delivery options...

Passion delivery will send Aussie beef to you up in Issan...  you could order in bulk and keep it frozen.

Thanks Richard

Yes this is the one I was referring to, e.g. seen their website.

Some guys on the Issan forum have given me a couple of leads, e.g. Udon Thani and Sakhon Nakon cattle breeding (French), I will try them 1st and if that fails, try Passion delivery.

Miss a good piece of medium rare, grilled on the open flame.
