I have had an oven put in my kitchen and need a thin (stainless steel or wood) plinth to go above it.  It should be a pretty standard oven size.  Can anyone recommend a decent DIY hardware shop that would likely have this? None of the Homepro's I've been to seem to stock this.  I live around Sukhimvit and ideally don't want to treck all over bangkok for it so if theres anywhere near to sukhimvit that would be ideal.

Alternatively, IKEA Bangna would have solutions that will work with a little hacking.

got a picture of what you are trying to get done? one suggestion is to contact your building technician to have them get it done for you. If you have a picture, perhaps I can point you to some places or offer other solutions.
