That's probably because they were so realistic that you thought they were boulders.  \ (•◡•) /

 

I seem to remember if you go straight past the aquarium shops, and then over to the right there are some places selling stones. Somewhere there...or, near there. They are in that area, not in the main plants section. 

 

There is no word per se for that in Thai so better to show them your photos, and ask around there. I know I saw them before, and I also know they were fxxxing expensive.

haha thx I'll look more thoroughly but i have a 4 inch blue pipe stick out my pond so it has to be covered one way or another  :D

if its in the pond already; what about getting one of those 600/800 high sand faced planters. I know you are are a diy-er so you will have a grinder.

Just cut out the bottom so the planter drops right over the blue pipe, then fill the rest up with small pebbles and/or stick a water plant in the top.

 

I assume you dont need access to the blue pipe too often.?
