I'm picking up my new British Passport today, do I need to go to Embassy or get anything before i give it to HR to get my visa WP etc copied over?

They should give you a blank letter from the embassy when you pickup your passport at Trendy. Then fill out the info for it to be used at immigration for the stamp transfer.
