Baan Buraphaa, Airport Plaza 1st. floor, Northern Thai Pavilion ... by first floor I mean the first floor above the ground. I posted here about nuwat boran at Baan Buraphaa in 2010:

2010 post on Baan Buraphaa

Recently, Khun Chai has come back to work at this venue; he's a Thai man with remarkable strength; if you like really deep nuwat boran (traditional Thai massage), highly recommended. They raised their prices this year; now it's 250 for a one-hour foot-massage. I find the environment exceptionally tasteful, and peaceful. Khun Somlit, who I mention in the 2010 post, is now at the Chettawan School for Thai Traditional Massage towards the end of Chotana Road.

Is that 1st floor American or 1st floor UK, lol....

Forum Rules: English is the only acceptable language anywhere on ThaiVisa, so the meaning of 1st floor by default, is the initial floor above ground level.

Colonial cousins frequently appear to have a seperate language with a differing meaning using identical words, seems to have been accepted & sanctioned by the Moderators though.:sorry:

I always go to the Blind Massage shop in Santitham.  Very near the Police Box, at the round-about corner.  Not expensive, respectful, considerate, etc.  The massage itself is as good as any and i like to support those folks who have few other employment options.

I've been going to 'Gai' at Siam Massage & Spa..., a man and woman work there - they give an authentic traditional Thai Massage (nuwat boran). The bloke is very strong and the woman not as strong but we've always found them to be very thorough, they know their stuff and always go over time by 10 or 15 min. They are on the right just a few meters  down Moon Muang Soi 5, and very close to Tha Pae Gate.

I forgot to mention that there is a blind masseur on Thanon Ratutit; has a nice shop-front which is clean and air-con. 150 baht/hr. for traditional Thai massage (nuwat boran).

Directions: get to the Siripanna Hotel on Thanon Ratutit, go east past the intersection with Ratutit Soi 8, cross the street to the other side. Next door to the right of a large computer-gaming place, 'OConnor,' you will see a sign in English. The Google street map for that area (circa 2014) doesn't show any signage for that shop, but, it's here.

I would call his massage medium-strong.
