Not slugs. When I try to pick it up, it dissipates, it's  similar to poo !

Now taste it.

may be the hollow shell of the recently shedded skin/shell, of that big moth looking down at you from nearby tree

How about a close up.

Can't get the camera wet.

What does it taste like?

Oops, already asked.

Maybe Gecko poop?

They're bathroom  tiles; we got them in our shower back home. except ours aren't black and white.

No idea really, but happy about my 'pool' in the back of the plot as pictured below ... things like yours don't play any role in there, keeps people away successfully too ...

I must admit, I'm thinking Richard the Thirds, but I don't know what animal.

If it looks like poo and it feels like poo, then it probably is poo.

What color this item?  If pink, then some sort of aquatic organism and i've seen plenty along beaches, exposed stumps, etc. Maybe a larva or chrysalis (if hard shelled).
