Police Look For Motorist Vowing To Shoot Those Who Defame King

BANGKOK — Police on Thursday were looking for an armed man who filmed himself driving around southwest metro Bangkok alternately crying and threatening to kill anyone caught defaming His Majesty the Late King.

NCPO sets up security command in Grand Palace area

  

BANGKOK, 20 October 2016 (NNT) – The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has established a security command to oversee peace and order and provide conveniences to a large number of mourners expected to pay homage before the royal urn of the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Grand Palace, starting on 28 October.

PHUKET:-- The Phuket Office of Non-Formal and Informal Education (NFE) is providing a free clothes-dyeing service to turn colored garments black so they can be used as mourning attire following the passing of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Three dual-track train projects to be proposed to cabinet in November

The Transport Ministry will next month seek approval from the cabinet for the construction of three dual-track train routes covering a total distance of 400 kilometres at an estimated cost of 55 billion baht, said transport permanent secretary Chartchai Thipsunavee on Thursday.

This man has worn 30 portraits of the late HM the King around his neck for 5 years

A fishing net maker in Sukhothai has worn over thirty portraits and symbols of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej around his neck for five years. He has done this to honor the late king, who he credits with helping him get his life back together.
