One of these is a photo competition that runs each month for a prize of a 1,000 baht phone voucher .

 

Another one is a monthly quest for a particular subject with Novembers subject being for Landscape and Cityscape images.

Any image posted in any one of the Photography and the Arts threads that is given 15 likes or more in a month is added to a Best Shots Gallery. This is a locked thread but can be viewed in the link shown under :

TODAYS PHOTOGRAPHY TIP

Do you want an image that is light and bright? Then plan on shooting during the day in a wide open space with lots of sunlight. Do you want to create an image that is dark and moody? Then look for locations that are not in direct sunlight, ones that have texture and tones that are on the darker side.
