Just flash your gold "Untouchable" card at the BIB station. They will check the serial number on the card against their untouchables list to see how high up the pecking order you are. This part is important. If your near the top expect an apology and a full red carpet police escort out the door.

I would like to think I would have the presence of mind to kick the driver in the nuts if he tried this on with me.

Nasty bit of work.

It appears he's had plenty of practice at being nasty. I pity any poor woman who puts up with this sort of bully behavior at home.

As we age sometimes this is our best option. Brings out the humility in the other person.

Well he would certainly be prostrating at your feet. Showing so much respect for you.

I have put various dents and scratches on many cars, including taking out side mirrors as well as rapping firmly on car windows.

Of course I wouldn't have done that if the idiot drivers would have kept within their own lanes and not straddle the white lane blocking my way unnecessarily.

Ooohhh... well hard you are.

They can't as they are stuck behind other cars. If it was an open road, there would be no reason for me to ride close to them

Oh... maybe not all that hard after all.

after taxes a mini cooper is an expensive car in thailand and viewed by many thais as a special car

Fair enough, but does that make his actions acceptable?

Had our car scratched on occasions by motor cyclists as they weave in and out of stationary traffic jam. Very hard to even notice as the do it sometimes - just a little contact with something sharp. But I've never known one ever stop and acknowledge it.

Recently parked near some motor cycle taxi drivers having a break. Returned after about an hour and scratch on the car. Seems like they all raced off after finishing and one got to near.

Best was sitting in jam outside the hospital when a young guy drove by with his gf on the back. She was swinging her feet and her large platform shoes and kicked the car. When she told him he simply looked back, gave us one finger and shot off!

But you're right. This guy was massively over reacting. Especially as the motor cyclist had tried to catch the taxi who caused it all.

Sheesh it's not a scratch. If your local car wash can't remove it, you are overpaying them. Just get some 'T-cut' , do it yourself and get over it.

I still remember the first time I saw 2 Thais having a screaming match in public. I was shocked, as I had been sucked in by the myth that Thais are gentle people that always avoid public confrontation.

With the arrival of the phone camera, it's all out there now, and that particular myth is well and truly deceased.

The bike guy probably realized he was in the wrong. But it would have been nice to see him after the second hit to punch the guy in the eye smashing his glasses into the eye....end of TV career. Then a swift kick in the balls, then stroll over climb on his scooter and bye bye. Sadly it never works out that way. Oh well, back to meditating on the absurdity of the world.

Looks like you have never watched the nightly soap operas, where at least one rant per episode is guaranteed.

One question only: why are the facial bones of that c-sucker still intact? Well, relatively at least, in local terms??

He just repeatedly begged to 'kiss' his own rear window ... sweetest opportunity there ...

Should have just gone down straight where he grabbed the other guy first time to begin with!

Wealthy Thais expect obeisance from all and sundry and they get it. The guy on the motorcycle was in awe . . .that's why the hi-so prick got away with it and then made the motodope wai to the <deleted> car!

I feel sorry for the car drivers here; so desperate to appear wealthy they buy a BMW or Merc on the black . . .and live in an expensive apartment with no furniture . . . .desperate <deleted>.

Charge him with assault and false imprisonment. That's a bloody mini and not a bloody luxury vehicle.

So you figure the assault would be justified if the car was a Mercedes?

I could not believe how many Thais copied what happened and posted it on Facebook only hours after seeing the video !

I think I have a GSOH, but found nothing funny about what happened at all.
