Random topic I know...

Does anyone know where one could get the typical Vietnamese bread rolls used for 'bahn mi'?

Basically a lighter and flakier version of the french baguette which are too chewy and too dense.

Yes I've seen them..., at the street food area , outside of the moat and opposite North Gate. That's the place where The Cowboy Hatted lady is. I haven't tried them yet.., but, I did notice they were steaming fresh ones there...., maybe you could get back and relate what you thought of them..., wherever you might find them ?

OOPS..., so sorry, I just re-read your post..., I was talking about Bahn Bao(steamed rice bun).
But..., I have seen bahn mi (baguette)  somewhere though..., just gotta recall where.
