Ingram Micro

Every time I drove along Mahidol Road from Airport Plaza to the moat I wondered if the (now vanished) Ingram Micro that used to be on the left close to the AIA building was the same one that traded prominently in London's Tottenham Court Road, computer mecca during the 80's and 90's.  Hard to believe it was just a coincidence .  Anyone know the story?
