Reasonable good food recommendations Silom MRT area.

Featured Replies

I am meeting a friend at the Silom MRT station tonight at 6:30 from back home in the states. We would like to have a light dinner within walking distance from there and then maybe a beer or two. Thai food would be good but would take other recommendations also, pizza maybe.  Thank you in advance.

i avoid thai food so i can't help you there.  but i enjoy the roadhouse BBQ which is very close to silom MRT.  another popular place i've read about but have not visited is smokin pug, i believe it is on surawong rd.  i've read it is not a very big place and gets crowded.  so i always stick with roadhouse as it is somewhat large and has had seating available on all my visits.  roadhouse has a menu online.

Mango Tree for Thai food. Down a Soi running between Silom and Suriwong. Seafood at Somboon. On Suriwong but quite a walk from MRT. There's an Irish Pub directly below BTS Sala Daeng might be worth a try. Or you could have a look in Silom Complex on Silom Road. Many choices there.

Was At Beirut Restaurant last week. They've changed the menu: more Western style dishes and few authentic Middle Eastern (caving in to the local tourist mob). For authentic ME food go to Soi Nana area.

Too late for you to use for meeting your friend but for future use check out Eatigo app, shows restaurants by area or food and you will get 10-50 % discount on food only.
