Samyan Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 If using a combination of income and funds to apply for a retirement extension, do the funds still have to be seasoned for three months? Thanks for any replies.
ubonjoe Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 The written rules do not mention the funds need to be in the bank for any amount of time when using the combination option. But many immigration offices want it to be in the bank for 60 days for the first extension or 3 months after that.
Pib Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 The police order, as in para 2.22(5) below, does not state seasoning is required for the combo method, but we all know some immigration offices may require seasoning. 1
Samyan Posted November 30, 2016 Author Posted November 30, 2016 Okay...Thanks to you both for your replies
Jingthing Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Yes, just in case, season the funds. Or you could mention your office and ask others if they have recent experience not seasoning with a combo method at your office.
