Traveloka vs. Nok Air Websites

Featured Replies

Maybe this a fluke, but I suspect not.

Today, I booked the wife and sis in law on Nok Air DD8314, DMK to CNX, 2 Dec. Price on the Traveloka website was 4787.78bt for both, to include the normal free 15kg checkin allowance per person. No extra charge to use my credit card. The Traveloka website is clean, efficient, showing all flights available, from both swampy and DMK -- and you can sort on airline, price, or departure time.

A visit to Nok Air's website was a mess. They automatically assume you want extra weight allowance, insurance, etc -- and these boxes you have to uncheck to get to the normal price. Then, they charge you 91bt per person to book via credit card. Bottom line: I would have had to pay 5579.90bt for the same package I paid Traveloka for (4787.78bt).

Is this Friday (2 Dec) an off day? Or, is Traveloka the real deal?

Anyway, search on "traveloka nok air" to get to their site.

I bought r/t to DMK last week and paid at 7-11...the total was 463 THB.  I had to unchecked and decline extras on AirAsia, too....230 each way?  Yes, I had to bargain more to get to Promenade for less.

I have never heard of Traveloka so for me personally I would be wary and prefer to book direct with Nok Air. You can always go on the Nok Air website and check out the reservation on the Manage My Booking tab and make sure it's all legit.
