dog friendly hotel in Pattaya?

Featured Replies

A friend of mine will come to Pattaya with entourage and dog. Any dog friendly hotel around? Preferably dark side-ish?

  • What kind of Bah Ferang takes a dog on holiday. Not in my pool will a dog swim. Crazy people.

  • If you check out some of the people floating in many hotel or condo swimming pools, I'd feel safer if they were replaced with a dog or two.

  • The kind of person that loves dogs obviously. It's your pool, your rules. If someone allows dogs to swim in their pool, that's their rules.

Just down SSCR  on the right hand side from Mitakon intersection Raro, a Dog & cat hotel  maybe about 1 K  from your house, maybe near the old post office and what was the 19th hole bar a while ago, or possibly just a little past there.  Had a good reputation as I remember

ah...so this is a place where only the dogs stay, right? They are rather looking for a place where they can all stay including the dog...it's a full sized dog, nothing that you can slip into your handbag.

There's also the Mirabel on the darkside. Sorry, you'll have to Google it for directions.

Raro: I think this is where our kite boarding buddy went a few years ago.  Had a pool for the dogs, etc.  He loved it.  Might check with him....

I took our dog there one day a few months back, there were other dogs  swimming in the pool. It's quite a nice location, nice just to sit and have a beer and a few nibbles.

Ibis hotels are "dog friendly" - but only for one dog less than 10 kg!

I spose they want the bloody thing to sleep in the bed with them.

I've stayed at the Rabbit Resort several times with my Soi Dog. They prefer small dogs but they've never said anything or brought out the scale. It's a bit difficult to find.

So one <deleted> with a dog can ruin all the hotel guests holidays ?

Don't stay there if you don't like dogs. Simple. BTW, this topic is about the availability of Dog Hotels, not whether you approve or not.

It's a hotel oriented towards dog owners!  The pool is specially made for dogs also.  Some sort of bio pool.  Relax!

Thanks for the helpful answers!

Yes, the Mirabel is where a friend of mine stayed a while ago, thanks for refreshing my old brain! He was very pleased with the place, dogs are indeed welcome in the pool and it's really a dog lovers place.

For those of you who disapprove, you know now where not to stay [emoji41]

Yes, they're fussy who they allow to stay.
