No Christmas trees at IKEA this year :(

Featured Replies

Just to let you all know. I emailed IKEA and asked when their real Christmas trees will come this year and they responded that they will not sell them at all this year

Christmas without the smell of Christmas :crying:  :crying:

Just seen some plastic ones in Makro. Maybe they'll do for you?

Christmas  is cancelled. It was my mrs birthday on tues .... I had no idea.  All celebrations are cancelled.

5 foot tree (fake) at Macro 599baht. Also have smaller and bigger, but hardly any decorations

They had the real ones a few years ago.

This year I will hang lights and Christmas decorations on my Golden Lab.

It will be like Christmas in very room as he walks around the house.

They've cleared the Sarah forest.   Where next?    :sorry:

I guess I will have to throw a green, floor length fabric over the refrigerator, decorate it with lights and a star and ponder how future world changes will affect things I enjoy!  ?

Haven't seen any lights on sale with the trees in Makro.

Not the least surprised.

It's totally in line with Swedish IKEA's ambition for political correctness. No x-mas trees because muslims might be offended (and Sweden is swamped with those these days).

What an utterly ridiculous comment.

Clearly bunkum.  They're still selling real ones elsewhere.  For example http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/ikea/christmas-trees/

And fake ones in Thailand.  http://www.ikea.com/th/en/catalog/products/70326439/

Ahh how I misss the goldens. Such gentle mouthes and the obsession with the bloody tennis ball. Never tiring and always bring back the  ball soggier than ever.
