‘Wife for hire’: Inside Thailand’s shocking rental marriage trend
My late, and very wealthy Swedish friend had the same Thai girlfriend for about 20 years. He said that the difference between her and a Thai lady was that Nah would get up early every morning to make his breakfast, whereas a Swedish lady would never (or be unlikely to) do that. Unlike in the West, Thai ladies haven't been raised to believe that they should be the same as men, so more 'traditional' roles of man and wife are more possible? -

I've read the laws regarding defamation and have posted them here, I have no issue with them, the laws cover protection for legitimate complaints/issues/comments. -

Nothing new here, and nothing will change. Why should it? I stopped judging others years ago. As long as there is a need, whether sexual, companionship, or both, everything remains status quo. Do we really have a right to judge others based on how they make this happen? Where adults make their own adult decisions. Sometimes, it's a business deal; other times, it's an emotional need, so what! -
