How accurate is it ?

My 10 year old BBQ is ready for burial so been looking around for a replacement, I like the beefmaster 4 burner sold by bbqthai.com however the price tag is horrific when compared to a beefmaster 4 burner at barbequesgalore.com.au.

bbqthai = Bt.45,000 ($1700 aud)

barbequesgalore = $600 aud

Assuming  a Bt.6,000 ($200aud)  delivery (dhl) according to dutycalculator.com I can have it here for Bt.27300 ($1030 aud).

is dutycalculator accurate or will I get bitten on the ass ?

Nice BBQ's but not what I was asking about.

I have only had one occasion so far when I checked with dutycalculator.com and then actually imported the product so that I could compare the estimate with the actual customs charges.  In that instance the  customs charges were less than estimated.  That may have been because Thai customs classified the product differently than I had.

Have you tried to stick the numbers in the example on the customs site?

will have to back calculate the duty rate from the figures on your example, if cannot find a published rate for bbqs

interested to see the results

i started a topic on importing alloy wheels a few months ago. After researching it i gave up ?
