Tramadol

Featured Replies

Tramadol is only available at hospitals with a doctor's prescription (technically). The way around that is to ask the pharmacist for Ultracet (37.5 mg tramadol HCI and 325 mg of paracetamol). Ultracet can legally be sold over the counter BUT you have to provide a valid ID and the pharmacist will log the purchase.

I remember being given that in an ambulance on the way to hospital !!!

Boots still sell it, but not the generic cheap stuff. it's about 380 baht for 10 x 100 mg

Rubbish, boots do not need ID for ultracet or Tramadol, for the later you just sign a register

I was with a friend of mine yesterday.  He was getting twinges from a tooth. Just to be prepared. He ducked into a pharmacy and bought a strip of Tramadol.......green/yellow 50mg.

Might be easier to find tramadol?  :whistling:

Tramadol is quite addictive and can be dangerous. It's great for treating moderate to severe pain after an operation but you need to be very careful if you're using it in the case of chronic pain.

Many pharmacies sell it I buy it all the time 50 or 100 mg.  Never have signed anything or been asked to.

So are booze and cigarettes which cause many more problems then Tramadol..

Yes, might not be so easy to get now.

It also shows just how easy it is to get addicted to tramadol.

I haven't had a problem at pharmacies on Jomtien Beach Road. It helps if you bring in your old prescription bottle or old packaging. If you just pop in as a foreigner, you might have difficulty. Bring a Thai girl with you too.
