Can anyone recommend a reliable and reasonably priced van service from Hat Yai to Penang - for myself and my three cats?

 

I know the cats will be taken to quarantine at Padang Besar and spend 7 days there, I know the regulations - the cats are ready and the paperwork is being prepared.

 

Now all I need is a private van from Hat Yai to Penang. Pick up me & my cats, leave the cats in Padang Besar and drive me to Penang.

The normal land crossing is Sadao - is Padang required because of the quarantine?

 

The share taxi (you can pay to take alone - I often did many years ago) is not large enough?  There used to be a stand or two that they departed from Hat Yai for the trip to George Town - one was next to Kings Hotel.  

Padang Besar is where the quarantine station is. There's only three in Malaysia - KL & Penang airports and Padang Besar.

 

However things have changed and it looks like we'll have to fly instead.
