One notices the disparity between protecting Thai Democracy and protecting a monk and would they be so keen to take to the streets to oust the current despots running the asylum ...................................................:coffee1:

I nominate the DarmaKarma guy for a reprise role, as Sir Alexander Dane,  Galaxy Quest)

''By Grabthar's hammer, by the suns of Worvan, you shall be avenged. ... I have one job on this lousy ship, it's *stupid*, but I'm gonna do it! ''

So all you guys from the "1st world" is actually want Thai government to act like outlaws? Why don't

suggest they send in tanks like China to clear this place?By then all you will jump in calling Thai 3rd world

and so on.Grow up.

Let the people in charge do their job.

It seems nobody has the balls to issue the order to

enter the temple, and the police are just standing

around like Muppet's,the criminals must be getting

a free run to do what ever they like, with so many

police tied up doing nowt.

Scuse my ignorance but I have not been following this fiasco. So is this the monk with the private jet who was hiding out abroad somewhere? Or another one?

I understand your confusion... there are so many to chose from... and while this fellow can probably afford a private jet he's not the one you are thinking of.

This is the monk who for most of the year has been so seriously ill he can't even make the trip to hospital... let alone a police station...
