Re-entry Permits At Airport On 1 May

Featured Replies

Can anyone please confirm whether the re-entry permit desk at Don Muang airport will open tomorrow, 1 May, as it's Labour Day? Many thanks.

Immigration is not working on holidays. No passeports controls either. Probably even the airport will be closed.

As the above answers indicate immigration is a 24 hour job at an international airport even if May 1 was a holiday for them (only for banks). Yes there will be someone there but I would get at immigration today to save any last minute worry (really). You can not obtain until you have your boarding pass AFAIK so be sure to check in early if you do at airport.

I agree Lop. Suan Phlu today removes all worry

Thanks, Lopburi and Dr P_P. You get these panics sometime.

Perhps someone should tell the Sri Racha Immigration office that it is a 24 x 7 job.

Today, Friday 7th the doors were open at 9:30 but not a person in sight.

Presumably they have all gone to Bangkok to help with the Royal Ploughing,

any ships coming into the harbour today just have to wait............
