TOT fiber out.. Anyone ??

Since 4am when I first checked my TOT fiber line is up, but no internet..

My PPPoE connection is up.. I can ping TOT gateway servers OK.. I can ping TOT DNS servers OK.. I cant ping google servers. Its not my end / local loop obviously.

I heard Sinet was down totally last night (blamed international gateway, now blaming southern floods) but is back already.

Anyone else on TOT fiber (or others) up or down ?? Other networks ??

I have TOT Fibre in BKK. There was an issue last night just before I went to bed around midnight. My connection wasn't down but was very sluggish and some sites wouldn't load properly.

Tried a couple of speed tests and they wouldn't load. Then tried TOT's speed test which ran at full speed so I determined that it was a TOT issue and went to bed.

This morning it is back to normal. It is the first time I have seen this issue in 2-3 years having TOT fibre.

Out here in Bang Sarey, don't know when the outage started but seems to be a DNS problem since I can connect but get the error message, No Internet

Interestingly the only web site I can open is SCB online, maybe because it is domestic.  TV not available and am writing this using my laptop and DTAC 4G Internet

Down since 23:00 last night. I am also on TOT Fiber, Bangkok.

What are the IPs of the servers you are pinging?

My gateway server is 118.174.118.214

DNS1 203.113.7.130

DNS2 203.113.5.130

only tried the first 2..

You can see these in the status page of your fiber modem.

No problems with my TOT fibre line here in Nonthaburi, internet & IPTV are all running fine.

Interesting.. Are you technical enough to do a geo traceroute to a non Thai server ??

Wonder why your area is routing differently ??

Connection back up and running now since around 9.00 am.  Internet connection was showing as connected but websites wouldn't load - diagnostics showed a DNS server connection problem. Is this a test for the single gateway as suggested on certain FB pages?

Thought it very odd when I lost Internet connectivity last night.  Ran some diagnostics found that TOT-hosted sites were up, peering with CAT and 3BB was up, but everything else was unresponsive.

Filed a trouble-ticket through their automated system even though I assumed they knew about it and were just waiting for replacement equipment to arrive and be configured.

It's been up and down all day, since last night.

It's clearly a system wide networking issue, since you still have a IP address, yet there is zero connectivity.

Mine just went down again about 15 mins ago, I suppose I should be thankful for my True 4G connection at least to use as backup

Well, right now we can only use Thailand websites aka domestic, but international websites cannot be displayed aka error..... totally messed up since half an hour.

Cannot log in to LINE or SKYPE at work ...... (unstable connection)
