Some cooking hacks for Rice Lovers: If you want the texture(close to the medium grain rice) like Calrose(Japonica rice), good to mix any Thai rice(Indica rice) with Sticky Rice. Japonica Rice Indica Rice At the ratio of 3(Indica Rice):1(Sticky Rice). Rice & Water ratio: Rice 1: Water 1.2 And soak it for 30 minutes or so before you switch on your rice cooker. Once the switch button flips back, leave it for 10-15 minutes. This way, rice is finished nice and tender. Also good to save the water you used to wash your rice in a bucket. As it makes a good natural detergent. If you soak emptied tub into it, for 30 minutes or so, it is a lot easier to clean it up. And that same water also has an effect to help remove oily greasy stuff; soak your used dish and cups for several minutes before you wash them up. -

Shop that prints or embroiders shirts (small quantity)
In case anyone else is interested, I decided to try Tee Shirt Express on Thepprasit Soi 3 to get some custom shirts printed, it's not far from my house. I took my designs on a USB and the guy let me try on an unprinted shirt to check the size is right (3XL as it happens), and then said to come back in three days. I ordered three shirts with different designs and I'm pleased with the results, it's almost impossible to find tee shirts with nice, original designs in Thailand, it's all beer makes, or Same Same but, or Good Guys Go to Heaven, or similar nonsense. I just picked them up and I'm well pleased, I think they were 410 Baht each. Here's one example: -

Just looking for clarification that I can enter overland on a UK passport and get 60 days? I'm leaving again in 36 days but I don't want to risk only being given 30 days at the border.
