Anti-Trump demonstration in BKK?

If there is it would be illegal as it breaks the 5 person assembly rule - unless the junta approves it of course.

I don't know why you would want to waste your time protesting a democratically elected President, but if I hear of a protest I will let you know (I imagine most people would prefer to just get on with their  lives though).

The woman that organized the one in Washington on the 21st is a friend of mine and from my small hometown. Here is the facebook link. Sorry I have not heard of any demonstrations in Bangkok or Thailand for that matter but then I have not been looking for them either.

Yes, there is a DT protest/woman’s march scheduled for Saturday. The march will promptly begin at 12:30pm from Rajamangala National Stadium, and end at the US Embassy on Wireless Road. Attendees are encouraged to wear black, carry heavy signs and once at the Embassy act suspicious.

American especially women are as stupid as stupid is. They tell the  world Democracy is the correct way to do things by the people for the people. Then after special interest groups complain and bitch the wrong guy got elected. Bunch of spoiled, self centered, small minded, over the top reactionaries who when things do not their way it is the wrong way. Maybe a lot of Americans should grow up and get educated about reality.

Yeah, if only America was as successful and well-organized as Thailand, right?

To the negative comments above, many expat Americans are planning marches/ protests in Cities outside of the USA, example: Paris, Tokyo, & Sydney. True, this has nothing to do with Thais, it has to do with the American community in Thailand that want the world to know that not all of us Americans support Trump or his foreign policies.

Thais become involved when you plan a demonstration on their soil .

Demonstrations are not permitted in Thailand .

Voters who voted against Trump have already voiced their opinion, no need to voice them again

Last place I would be is at a protest with a pack of Americans, me being one of them, in a foreign country. Talk about painting a giant target on your back. An ISIS wet dream.

Of couse not all support Trump and those people had their say at a democratic election. So it appears more people wanted him as president.. Now they should shut up and get on with life. Americans who show up to protest are protesting democracy not Trump. Grow up and accept life does not always go your way. Democrat supporters in Thailand and America have a lot in common.Maybe they can get Suthep to fly over and shut down Washington. You would like that?

this has to be a joke.  and i'd suggest a rewording on the 'many' american expats planning marches in international cities.  'a few' might be more appropriate.  and i'd guess less than 0.005% of the american expat population in the cities where they happen.

As that is not a true statement and is the entire basis for your rant it calls into question the validity of your entire post.

He was voted in by a democratic election . So you are saying all elections till this one in America were legitimate but this one which followed the same process is wrong. America had their own way of electing leaders if you think he wasnot elected by the masses you are entitled to your opinion but by Americas understanding and use of democratic elections he was. If democratis had won same way you probably would be praising the elction sysytem now. So i stand by my statement it APPEARS  more people wanted him

I never said this election was wrong or different then any other. I was merely pointing out that your statement  "more people wanted him as president" was simply not true. Almost 3 million people more voted for for Hillary, so certainly more people "wanted" her to be president. Not sure how you can argue that point, but I'm sure in our post-truth world some one will find a way. Trump, himself, certainly tried it already.

I said nothing about the electoral process  and certainly made no judgement either way. You sound a bit defensive there, don't you think??

Not sure about protest but there is a lunch to report on new proposals including ending global taxation for Americans. See info here:

I thought his foreign policies were to stop Isis , bring jobs back to America , secure the borders from illegals, and put America and its people first with gradurity to other countries second. Good luck with your march, just don't vandalis the place like your peace loving mates in the US when Clinton lost. Maybe you could organise a group cry sit down with puppies. There are plenty of soi dogs around Thanon Wirless.

Loonies and should face the consequences of illegal protesting since it's against the law here.

I don't see the trumpist movement as being friendly to expats. It's much more of a love it or leave it crowd that tends to see expats as suspects, NOT patriotic,  even traitorous.

This anti Trump stuff is all a psyops operation. It is government ( over reach ) Soros funded crap. I am in Falang land today and have been a life long democrat all my life but cease to identify with these zombies any more. They call Trumper's deplorables but these pieces of <deleted> are despicable commie anarchists who are mind controlled by media hype. I never want to step foot in this country of mine of 67 years again. I am ashamed of a good majority of these useless eaters. Let them eat cake.
