Lawyer (Real Estate) in CM - Recommendations

Featured Replies

I am selling my condo and want to remove the hassle of personally attending the Land office.  Can anyone recommend a reputable English speaking Lawyer who could:

  • conduct the transfer on my behalf,
  • take possession of the Bankers draft,
  • pay any taxes/fees on my behalf
  • ensure the Land Office produces the necessary certificate and documentation to give my bank the authority for the repatriation (transfer) of the funds back to UK
  • produce a full certified transaction statement in English (for UK authorities in order to prove the origin of the transferred funds).

I used to use Khun Krit at Sunbelt a number of years ago, but he has moved on I am told.  From memory Sunbelt were a bit pricy when compared with others in the city.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Thats a level of trust which I would struggle to place in any one here..

Showing the transfer in would be proof....a friend told me one of the big banks would send 9 million out hassle free for 18000 THB.  He bought it with profits made here.

Kuhn Sumalee of 29 Tanin has just done something very similar for us, she comes highly recommended with excellent English.

Thanks Chiang Mai, I remember her now from another thread in the distant past.

Much appreciated.  I'll drop her a line.

Kuhn Sumalee isn't big on email responses, best to stop by her office and ask in person, it's not far away from your condo in the Punna Building on Suthep Road at Canal Road, just up from Dunkin Donuts.
