Hatari Air Purifier Is this Normal?

Featured Replies

Admins sorry if this is in the wrong place but as Chiang Mai has a lot of smoke wanted to ask it here.

Just got this Hatari Air purifier from Lazada.... good promise on all those filters vs sharp and others and price.

Why does it sound like moquitoes are being electrocuted inside all the time? This only happens on PLASMA and IODIZE mode... especially plasma. ... Is this normal? I walked into the room at night and at the back at night I can see sparks of electricity going at the back... This cant be dirty filter as it is 3 weeks old. Anyone else has this issue?

Doesn't sound right, I have had hatari filters for years now with no sound except for the fan. I would take it in to the shop to have them look at it.  Should still be under warantee

Not being an expert but from personal experience.....Plasma/ ionosers consist of a wire with high voltage on it.  If you can see sparks then there is a fault. The HV wire is running too close to something it shouldn't be.  There may be a mark where the arc is taking place so you might be able to spot where it is happening.  If it is new though I would take it back if that is possible.

I bought the same item rom lazada because of the free extra filter....

I noticed the buzzing..

looked like short circuit to me..

I used it in the bedroom...

couldn't sleep because of the buzzing...

sent it back for a refund after 2 days...

I imagine it was the same faulty one they sent u..

I sent mine back about 1 month ago...
