I think it was taken before 1919 from Afghanistan. I'd glad to learn otherwise, if you can show me some credible material.

I admit I don't, but I am quite certain that eventually the U.S. military is going to leave Afghanistan, and I believe that after they do the Taliban will return to power. The Taliban are Pashtun, after all, and the Pashto are the largest tribe in Afghanistan. Afghanistan ceased to be Buddhist centuries ago. Even the current government does not want relics of their pagan past. When the Taliban return they will surely resume their campaign to extirpate all relics of paganism and polytheism as they define it. They define Buddhism as paganism.
