Desperately seeking to buy these types of buckets for my crayfish.

Should be able to get those from Makro, Homepro, Global House.

Ummm... checked Makro but they aint got them. Indeed got to expand my search to the 2 others you mentioned. Thanks for the advice.

Try a place that sells all the plastic rain water tanks.

Every decent size town has one, don't know the name but as well as tanks they have what your after, all shapes and sizes.Just look for a yard full of plastic tanks.

Hello All, it might be nice to have your location as not all areas have the

same stores/shops.

If you were in Korat, I'd say on Hwy. 224 50M's past the Y intersection L/H

side. In the shadow of the big sign. The have water tanks and square and

 round like in your pic.

You could check at any roadside place that has water tanks, they should

be able to get or maybe knows who can.

There was a link to a Thai Co. that makes this stuff in one of the Aquaponics

threads if you want.

The Y off 224 is T-21, Big C, Marko Korat #1 and The Talat Korat

Location would be key.  There's a place on AH1 south just past the 2nd Singburi exit, across from the highway department building in the center divider, that sells nothing but different styles of plastic ice chests and buckets. Take a picture with you!

The Bangkok Fish/pet market has LOTS of these.. all sizes

I've seen similar tanks for sale at JJ Market in the tropical fish section.

The round are generally a bit cheaper than the square containers. Not sure if it will work, but an IBC cut in half may be a cheaper option.

Thai watsadu has them in big sizes...not sure for small ones but aquariumshops like on sanam luang 2 market aka thonburi market have them for above 1000 baht iirc.

i asked the price for them at watsadu last week, after 15 minutes the sales were still calling around so i gave up....soooo Thai...they had a load of them in a corner of the warehouse.

Very useful. Thanks everyone.

Unsure whether you already sourced the square bins or not, we have a couple 1.5 x 1.8mtr, by .75mtr high, not cheap at 4500 ea from those roadside plastic bin shops that are around everywhere,, for the crayfish another option, if you have the room, instead buying the big cement rings or making square cement pens,, per sq mtr I think it's a cheaper alternative, biggest size cement rings I saw were more than 2mtr dia, at 1700 baht, can either cement base or put in black liner which is much cheaper, 1.2 mtr size cement rings can be found with base already attached.
Edited to add,, there's also these boards,, Thais call it futureboard, can get from thaiwatsadu, and you can make up an approx, 1.3mtr x 2mtr box from this, lots of Thais use this and strengthen it with a PVC water pipe frame, costs only 110baht per sheet

This what I was trying to explain, to the R of the tall signpost,( on a off note, on

the back side of the pic across the roar from T-21 is 3-4 fish tank aquarium supply

shops between the corner an Big C.

This pic is to the R of the sign post, see the SQ tanks at the base of the two tents

a lithe of center-L? This is Hwy. 224 between The Mall and downtown.

There is also roadside shops like this in lots of areas, I always have a pic on my phone

to ask, my-me??
