Disposing of Diabetic syringes

Featured Replies

Where does one dispose of Diabetic syringes and othe paraphernalia in Pattaya?

I use the disposable screw on needles required for the novopen device and chuck them in the bin, same with used BG meter test strips and used lancets...the needles come with a protective plastic cap that you replace after use...

when the bin men come by in the morning with the truck they sift thru the waste lookin' fer recyclables or anything of value but they use heavy protective gloves...

this is in a small town in Suphanburi and I don't see a problem...

It is not ideal, but what I do with needles and the like is (1) break it off at the hub (making it impossible to reuse) and then (2) put inside an empty soda can or bottle, t least then the garbage collectors won't get stuck by it.
