This lifted from today's UK Gueaduan newspaper.

Premier League can now block illegal Kodi football live streams

Sky, BT, Virgin Media and TalkTalk will have to block customers’ access to games accessed through third-party add-ons

the heading asks the question.

The answer

NO

They can only block streams from UK based servers, and even then they first have to locate them.

Take in mind that for 3pm streams none of the media mentioned are involved, as my understanding is that at that time they are not allowed to broadcast.

Two points here, firstly it does appear that the uk courts on Wednesday over ruled your first point and secondly of course SkyPorts and BT Sports dominate the live schedules 24 hours aday. Or have I misunderstood you ?

Do you have a link to that court ruling? If you have in mind the ruling that Sky and BT can block streams, this has nothing to do with the legality as mentioned in the other thread

With the ruling Sky and BT don't need a court order to block a server IF the server is located in the UK and IF they can trace the server in the first place.

3pm games are available on kodi every Saturday, though the source isn't Sky or BT as they are not allowed to have streams at those times.

Most of the Kodi addons use servers outside the UK, how they ever gonna block them?
