I feel appreciated with a thai women.

There's always an exception. I know a thai man who would give up a month's salary for a Russian woman. 

 

For me, I have had a thing for Asian women ever since I first saw Nancy Kwan in The World of Suzie Wong. Some call it "yellow Fever." I came to Thailand the first time 46 years ago this month. I've lived here the last 12 years. Something brought me back and it wasn't elephant treks. The eyes and the smiles get me first.

They and others show a admiration and respect that you don't necessarily get in America.And once and awhile she'll say thank you for loving me which to me is quite humbling .

Very simple : Access and Availability to ALL their feminine charms.

Seriously,  If you live jn a place like Saudi Araba or Pakistan or any country where there is no or very little access or availability to female companionship then you may not want to live there in that respect.

Meantime the women here, over all, are very charming and very friendly and very feminine and a good percent of them are attractive.

There is an air of femininity and charm about them that any man would like while a lot of foreign women like them also.

The 10's are the worse as many are narcissists and what we perceive as arrogance, is actually a discard as their supply is currently full!

 

Many years ago my dad told me to forget about the beautiful women and concentrate on a plain lady with a good heart and a soul.   He also said, "some are more exciting than others."

 

Naturally, I didn't listen and I have been paying the price ever sense.  

 

I've lived here for 11 years and it's my opinion that most Thai ladies are shy,  because many don't speak English fluently. 

 

If you ask them, they will agree.  

 

This entire women power movement in western countries is the unspoken reason I think. Nothing wrong with women being equal in almost every way of course, but I think what's been going on in recent decades is women are trying to overcompensate and force themselves into being more independent and equal. In my opinion it's created this horrible dynamic where it is seriously almost impossible to court and get along with a western women long term nowadays. Thai women are head strong for the most part but they aren't doing all this overcompensation women's lib crap. Most of them really have their heads screwed on straight and it's very attractive and easy to get along with.

Sure, I would say it's more prevalent but I've also seem some couples where it's turned on its head.  Some guys here are so whipped and under her thumb, it's painful and embarrassing to watch.

Having been married to 3 different Thais from all walks of life- I would  marry another one. However, as I have said the majority of Thai women cannot engage in a stimulating conversation whether in Thai or English.  Most of them wear a mask- they are actors in a play- and unless you speak to them in Thai you will never see beyond this mask and act.

Two out of the Three of my wives were/are loving but not much in the way of a World view although being married to a Westerner they developed one somewhat.

 

The one I divorced was horrid and even her act was poor. Unfortunately, I met her after my first Thai wife died and I was drawn only to her sexuality and beauty. A big mistake on my part. There has to be more than physical beauty and sex.

 In my opinion, Thai women generally have no interest in anything other than their family; their friends and their job if they work. The reason there is so much divorce between Thai-Foreign marriages is that they have nothing in common; and no  shared interests . While I am able to accept these differences because there are many positives-many people cannot and that is where the friction comes into play.

 

One of the reasons Thais in general have a very narrow view is their lack of exposure to others; a poor education system that depends upon rote learning instead of thinking; lack of role models except Thai actors or singers; censored news; and television shows that distort real life. The longer you stay in Thailand the more you are able to see beneath the mask and sometimes what you see is not what you thought you were getting.

I honestly believe that before I could speak and understand Thai- I liked the country and people much more because I could never see the reality of certain situations nor understand the act that was being performed. I still love it here- warts and all- but sometimes ignorance is bliss. Just a thought.

The more you travel and live/work in different country, the more you figure out people are, for the most part, the same.

 

Food.  Water.  Shelter (security).  Clothing.  Once you've got that, that's when the good idea fairies start coming up with all kinds of superfluous nonsense.
