BANGKOK, 28 March 2017 (NNT) - The Meteorological Department revealed that thunderstorms in the upper parts of Thailand will begin to dwindle while the South will experience more rains.

According to meteorologists, a high-pressure system currently moving across the North and Northeast has already weakened. Coupled with westerly winds, the skies in these regions will become clear towards the second half of this week.

Meanwhile, heavy rains have been forecast in southern provinces of Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
