I recently submitted my work permit application which was rejected because there was less than one month remaining on my non-immigrant B visa. It means an unscheduled visa run to Singapore next week for another visa.

Is this a new rule? I was originally told that with the receipt from the labour office I could get an extension at the immigration office.

All in all a pain but I thought I'd post to make others aware of this.

Hi madmitch

I've just been through it.

My co.ltd. was under construction 2005 - so we couldn't show positive numbers for that year - who can ?

"2006 we opened the resort and it's going well.

Doesn't matter- figures from 2005 are negative - so we cannot renew your B-visa inside Thailand.

So I went to Spore on sunday and got a 3 months non-B visa single entry. ! ( before I allways had a 1 year Non B multiple entries)

There were hundreds of visa-applicants there - believe me - many crying when their applications were rejected.

For some reasons. Either they did not have enough pages left in their passports, not enough money on their bankaccounts or their companies didn't make enough profit.

Good luck.

I'm Looking for a new place as soon as I've sold my business here.

I've had it.

Everything has its time !
