Hi all and Merry Christmas.

Looking for a bit of advice...

Where are the best viewpoints upin the Pattaya hills to get good sea and city views?

What would be the best way of getting up there? Charter a Songthaew?

Many thanks,

When you are on Buddha Hill look over towards this hill, it is where the Radio Station is and there is also a Statue of a Famous Thai Prince Naval Officer there. You can walk there but the hill is steep.

From that hill you get great panoramic views of Pattaya Bay. Something like this.

I always stay here when I visit Oatti and believe as a non resident that you can visit the roof area for the price of a beer :o

There's a nice view at the Royal Cliff hotel, go outside to where the GLASS elevator is that goes down to the beach. GREAT view from the deck at the top of the elevator.

Also, at the top of Soi Khao Talo, inside "Siam Royal View", about 2 kilometers up from Sukumvit Road, is a great view of ALL of Pattaya and Jomtien, but it's a bit far from the beach, but you can see the whole skyline.

Also, from inside the new tower at the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, by the elevators above the 5th floor, nice view toward Laem Chebang of the whole coast.

There are quite a few hotels that have roof restaurants... Markland, the Vietnamese place Buddah hill area/Pratamnak, etc.

Many thanks for your advice - had a nice break over X-mas, did go to Buddha Hill which was good and also to a place called The Sanctuary of Truth which I highly recommend for an afternoon out.

Thanks again & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
