Hair Styles through the Years.

Recommended Posts

What in your opinion are the best and worst hair styles from famous people through the years?.

Best. Elvis in the early seventies, a young Joan Baez. Worst.  Michael Jackson, young and old, and the beehive womans hairstyle. Awful.

Mullet absolute worst. Mind you, some southern (USA) good ole boys still think it's still fashionable!

I was never one for short hair, but the mullet was awful.

That is awful. Are you there Transam? Send us a photo of that other awful hair style the Teddy boys used to have, the "Tony".

"Short back and sides", I still shudder looking at my school photos.

The "afro", looked terrible on women and even worse on men.

"Dreadlocks", buy some quality shampoo and conditioner.

The "crewcut", the only one I can wear now.

Yes, the afro was a dreadful hairstyle, I have a full head of long straight hair myself, but I think when guys start losing their hair it is

better just to shave it off. I have had long hair all my adult life, I'm just glad I still have it all.

Lord, I too look at the school photos, arghh! Kill me now!

Now, I'm definitely at the "Gibbs" time of life, still enough (just) on top to get away without a "Classic" No1

In the past?

Well, in my first wedding photos (to the blue-eyed, blonde, Essex-girl with the big ... ) I had a pony-tail (future MiL tucked it into my jacket).

No, definitely no, I will not be posting those photos!

Women going super short butch hair. No pic but I worked with one.

Blatantly lesbian she scared most people before she got the boot for sexually harassing a colleague.

Women with short hair, always been a no-no for me.

I used to have really wavy hair as a kid .
Unfortunately later on in life I realised it was only waving goodbye ☹️

I always hated wavy or curly hair on a guy.

Some people just don't know when it's time to go with a better look !!
This Rambo wannabe, spotted in Pattaya last year, is a prime example.

That guy Stallone must be the worst actor ever,  but that's going off topic, what about actors who became famous and won good parts in movies and tv series because of their hairstyles, or lack of hair? Yul Brynner, Telly Savalas, although I never seen a lot of them I do believe they could act.
