New IPad 2017 (9.7")

Featured Replies

Anyone else checked these out yet?

I've just ordered one from Apple/th. I ordered the 32gb/wifi version for ฿12,500. The 128gb version is ฿15,900. This will replace my mini 2.

I played with this new model alongside the Pro version which is a lot more expensive. The display is fantastic as most iPads are and I could barely noticed the difference between the laminated pro screen and this so called 'budget' iPad.

Plenty of reviews on YouTube if anyone is interested but if you are looking to upgrade on an older iPad and use them for purely consuming media, emails and some work tasks, then I don't think you can argue with the value. If you need the Apple Pencil and keyboard then you'll need to buy the Pro model for that.

I don't think you can best the build quality on a iPad, IV had my iPad 4 now for about 5 years and it still works fine and battery still gets about 7 hours browsing time and numerous days standby.

The only complaint i have is how boring IOS is.

Yes, this new model is a cracker for the price. Same processor as the 6S (M9?), very zippy. This will do me for at least another 3 years.

My mini 2 is over 3 years old and still performs great on the latest IOS and battery still lasts over 8 hours with full usage, standby for days.
